Free Peony at Cornerstone Garden Farmers Market

May 5th and May 12th 2012 at Cornerstone Garden Farmers Market-414-(Rear) State Street from 8-12 there will be a drawing for a free Peony perennial and other goodies

Purchase an item from a vendor and receive one ticket for the drawing. If several purchases are made from different vendors, your chance of winning this beautiful peony perennial increases.

Peony plants are considered the queen of all plants because of their magnificent blooms, fragrance and nostalgia. They are excellent cutting flowers and sure to brighten anyones day. Mothers Day is around the corner and this could be hers

They need some shade from the heat of Greensboro’s summer. Morning sun would be ideal and make sure it is planted in a place where it will not be disturbed. They dislike being transplanted.

Cornerstone Garden is filled with affordable and unique Mothers Day Gifts

this is the deepest purple iris called Before the Storm

Armeria blooms for 3 months and is drought tolerate

Akebia vines are evergreen and will turn ordinary structures into charming cottage style architecture

False Indigo is a meadow or cottage style plant with gorgeous blue spikes to be followed by ornamental black seed pods. We have the blue and the yellow.

Lace Artistry Iris is so delicate and lacy with a hint of white throughout the apricot blooms

Many varieties of Clematis…..and don’t worry if your Mom does not have a spot, they can be grown in containers.

Other pretty plants too

Pick up a hand-made Mothers Day Card at the market, created by a local artist. Mom would love this

Remember those Mothers who have angels too
